2. Final Girl Isle - Full Guide

Counselors are divided into teams and compete for safety each episode. The losing team attends Bloodfire, a ceremony where they vote out one of their own. After a few episodes, teams merge and the game becomes individual. Last one standing wins.

Season Structure

Pre-Merge

  • Counselors split into 2 to 4 tribes
  • Tribes compete in safety challenges each episode
  • Losing tribe attends Bloodfire and votes someone out
  • Alliances form within and across tribes
  • Tribe swaps and shuffles can reshape the game

Post-Merge

  • All remaining counselors merge into one group
  • Individual immunity challenges - winner cannot be voted out
  • Everyone attends Bloodfire each episode
  • Strategic gameplay intensifies as numbers drop
  • Blood Statues and other advantages become critical

Finale

  • Final 2 or 3 counselors face the jury
  • Eliminated players return as jury members
  • Finalists give speeches and answer jury questions
  • Jury votes based on gameplay, strategy, and relationships

3. Game Modes

Spectator Mode

Watch the sim run without input. The game controls all decisions, alliances, and votes. Good for seeing how a cast plays out or running quick seasons.

Interactive Mode

Take control of one counselor. You choose who to align with, who to vote for, and how to navigate social situations. Your choices directly impact your survival.

Episode Designer

Set which twists appear in each episode before the season starts. Drag events onto episodes to build a fully custom format.

Franchise Mode

Track counselors across multiple seasons with career stats and history. Run returnee seasons with past players from your franchise.

Showrunner Mode

Available in Spectator mode. Influence the game like a reality TV producer - rig challenges, plant advantages, or shape storylines.

Cast Customization

Edit counselor names, upload custom portraits, and assign archetypes. You can randomize names while keeping archetypes, or go fully random.

4. Character Archetypes

Each counselor has an archetype that sets their baseline stats and behavioral tendencies. Archetypes affect how they play socially, strategically, and in challenges. There are over 60 in the game.

6. Core Mechanics

Alliances

Counselors form alliances based on relationship scores, shared interests, and strategic need. Alliance members typically vote together and protect each other - but alliances fracture under paranoia, better offers, or endgame pressure. Loyalty stats are a strong indicator of who is likely to flip.

Relationships

Every pair of counselors has a score from -10 (enemies) to +10 (best friends). Scores shift throughout the game based on voting history, alliance membership, challenge performance, and random events. Archetype compatibility also plays a role.

Challenges

Challenge outcomes depend on a counselor's Challenge Ability stat combined with randomized variance - anyone can have a strong or weak day. Advantages and team composition factor in for group challenges. Most challenges have distinct physical, mental, and endurance phases.

Voting

At Bloodfire, votes are shaped by alliance loyalty, threat perception, recent challenge results, relationship scores, and items in play like Blood Statues. Strategic endgame positioning also influences who becomes a target.

Edgic

The sim tracks edgic (Edit + Logic) to show how each player is being portrayed each episode. Visibility levels help predict who is being set up to win or be eliminated.

Each rating also carries a tone (Positive, Mixed, or Negative), which together give you a read on where the edit is taking each player.

7. Frequently Asked Questions

How do I customize my cast?

On the setup screen you can edit each counselor's name, choose an archetype, and upload a custom portrait. You can also randomize names while keeping archetypes intact, or fully randomize everything.

What's the difference between Spectator and Interactive mode?

Spectator mode runs the simulation without any player input - you watch the story unfold. Interactive mode puts you in control of one counselor where you make real alliance and voting decisions that directly affect your survival.

How do Blood Statues work?

Blood Statues are hidden immunity items. When played at Bloodfire before votes are read, all votes cast against the holder are negated. They can also be gifted to another player.

Can I play the same cast across multiple seasons?

Yes. Franchise mode tracks counselors across seasons with career records and relationship history carrying forward. You can run returnee seasons using players from previous installments in your franchise.

What determines who wins jury votes?

Jury voting weighs relationship scores with jury members, perceived gameplay quality, challenge wins, big strategic moves, and how the finalist was portrayed throughout the season.

How do I use the Episode Designer?

The Episode Designer appears during season setup. Select an episode and add twists to it from the available list. You can stack multiple twists in one episode to build a fully custom format.

What is Showrunner Mode?

Showrunner Mode, available in Spectator, lets you influence the game from behind the scenes - rigging challenges, planting advantages, and shaping storylines like a reality TV producer.

Are runs different each time?

Yes. Challenge outcomes, relationship development, alliance formation, and voting decisions all include randomized elements. The same cast can produce completely different seasons.

How do I save my season?

Seasons save automatically to your browser's local storage. You can also export as a shareable link or sync to cloud storage with a Firebase account.

Does it work on mobile?

The sims run in mobile browsers, but the experience is built for desktop and tablet. There is a lot of information on screen at once, so a larger display will give you a better experience.
